
President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will start the second day of his official visit in the Philippines by meeting President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at Malacanang Palace, Manila on Wednesday.
President Jokowi will be greeted by an official welcoming ceremony and hold bilateral meetings, according to a written statement from the Press Bureau of the Indonesian Presidential Secretariat.
In addition to meeting President Marcos Jr, President Jokowi is also scheduled to visit Kopiko Philippines Corporation located in Calamba City.
Jokowi Inspect Kopiko Corporation in Calamba City
President Jokowi will inspect the factory of one of the producers of coffee products from Indonesia.
After that, President Jokowi and his delegation will move back to Manila City to review the factory of W Hydrocolloids Inc.
After the inspection, President Jokowi will return to the hotel in Manila to spend the night and continue the next day’s activities.
Also accompanying President Jokowi on his official visit to the Philippines were Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko, Presidential Advisory Council Member Gandi Sulistiyanto, and Indonesian Ambassador to the Philippines Agus Widjojo.
